Road Trips from Livingston

t

Livingston, Montata is surrounded by three Mountain ranges, so each week we have headed in a different direction to explore God's creation.  We did a circle around the Crazy Mountains to the northeast; south to Livingston Peak which is in the Absaroka Range; and west toward Bozeman to the Bridger Range.

Looking to the southwest, we could see the clouds rolling in the the sky was turning dark as night.  The winds started to blow and some of the gusts were up to 60 mph.  We really didn't get much rain but someone sure did.  It skirted by town heading northeast.

We are enjoying our visit with Daryl and Vicki, going out to eat, shopping in Bozeman, worshipping in church each week, and just having fun playing card games and cooking.  Also doing jigsaw puzzles, I think we are on number 9, usually wildlife of some kind.

We have been spared the heat that most of the rest of the nation is experiencing, cool mornings ( in the 40's) and pleasant afternoons, usually in the 70's.  Perfect!

  1. What an informative and engaging post. Thank you for helping me identify some of the flora and fauna that Livingston has to offer! This Buckeye girl sure is enjoying the scenery.
