A Month at Malibu

Sunrise over Los Angeles

We have a campsite with a great view over the ocean at Malibu Beach RV Park.   It's great just sitting out in the sun high above the beach looking for dolphins, sea lions and even a whale.  We see both the sunrises and sunsets, absolutely beautiful!!

A half mile walk down the busy road takes us to the much more peaceful Solstice Canyon with trails going a few miles up the beautiful canyon full of bird life.

We took a drive up to Malibu Creek State Park and walked the trails and enjoyed the birds there.  The drought has taken it's toll on the vegetation and any rain is very welcome.

We put out the hummingbird feeder and have had many Anna's and Allen's Hummingbirds coming often.

We have also had some nice time spent with our son Travis and his wife Tina as we work around his busy work schedule on his latest film - The Dark Tower.
