West Texas

 

We drove east around El Paso to the Guadelope Mountain National Park which is the highest point in Texas.  Pictured is El Capitan at 8,749 feet.  We camped in the canyon surrounded on three sides by mountains.  Everything is so green in the desert from the monsoon rains that came every afternoon.
