For November and December we are based at Indian Creek Resort at Fort Myers beach near dear friends, Bud & Patti (Hancock) Myers who are at a near by Assisted Living Center. We've joined them for worship at First Assembly of God church for wonderful services. |

Even though we are in an urban area, birds are everywhere, including a nesting pair of Bald Eagles right here in the park. This area was spared from major damage from Hurricane Irma, but as we travel, we see major damage in many areas.

Our first road trip was to Audubon's Corkscrew Swamp. They had been closed for a month because of Irma damage, but we got a discount because half of the boardwalk was closed.

Next road trip was much closer, The Six Mile Cypress Slough on the east side of Fort Meyers.

With nesting eagles practically out the door, we'll show a play by play in the life of the eagles. Hopefully, we will still be here for the hatching of the eggs.
