Washington's Central Coast

Next adventure area was Westport just south of Grays Harbor on the central coast of the state of Washington.  In the harbor, many Jellies (formerly called Jellyfish) and Sea Stars (formerly called starfish).  Great time of the year for shorebird migration.
Bottle Beach State Park is the shorebird's favorite feeding area

We then drove around Grays harbor and spent a few days at Copalis Beach.  This expansive beach had many shorebirds feeding on the tidalponds and sea birds feeding in the pounding waves.

Who is this swimming in the creek that connects to the ocean?  A River Otter.  This guy was very curious about the nearby photographer.

We then drove to South Beach at Olympic National Park where we spent the next nine days and you will find in the next blog that will be done in a few hours.  So don't miss the two parts.
