Every day - a unique sunrise
Tundra Swans migrating
There were 70 swans in this flock, all calling
Sandhill Cranes feeding and resting on their way south
There were about 300 cranes in this stubble corn field
Neighborhood White-tailed Buck
Waving his white flag
"Tasting" the air for doe scent
A ride north to Clyde Park brought a nice surprise..
A cow Moose with two yearlings crossed the highway.
We pulled over to photograph them as they headed to the Shields River.
Two Bulls were approaching the road in pursuit.
They were not detered by us or highway traffic
The largest Bull proceeded across without looking both ways.
Ty waved the traffic down for them to stop, The younger bull got scared and turned back.
Now where did she go?
The second bull waited till the trafic was gone and came back to the south and crossed.
We have seen over 15 moose this year, Amazing!
We went back to Corwin Springs to see if the rut was in full swing for the Bighorn Sheep.
Definetly!
There was a lot of action in the field below the cliffs.
As the ewes ran underneath the irrigation pipes the rams attempted to follow.
Their horns would hit the pipes with a loud clanging sound.
This Bighorn ram's horn is broomed from head butting in their fierce competition for ewes.
Definetly fun watching the action.
Two young bull elk were resting in the sun
Don't bother me, I'm tired.
Last trip to Dailey Lake before freeze up, Colorful irredescent feathers on the Buffleheads
Eared Grebe and American Coot linger on the open water
Six Mile Creek is being worked over by the Beaver, Most Aspen trees have been felled.
Beaver dam still in progress.
As leaving Dailey Lake we could see the snow storm clouds in the north.
Time to head home!
❤️ Love & Prayers 🙏🏽
