As our Wisconsin visit came to an end, we visited some of our favorite birding places in between saying farewell to family and friends.
Two more days at Horicon, we stayed at Ledge Park and saw this beautiful rainbow after a fast moving storm.

Terns had arrived and waterfowl had headed north. Flowers were blooming and birds were nesting. Spring was turning to summer.

Spent a long day at the Southern Kettle Moraine waiting until late evening to hear the rare Chuck-Will's-Widow calling.

We birded Gov. Dodge State Park and then on to Wyalusing State Park.

Good-bye to Wisconsin till next summer! Now we are driving westward through the plains and into the Rocky Mountains of Colorado.
